Mr Lim Tze Peng is a living embodiment of the saying 活到老,学到老 – you’re never too old to learn, or in his case, too old to accomplish something!
A giant on the art scene, Mr Lim remains active well into old age. He received the Cultural Medallion at age 82 and the Meritorious Service Medal at 95.
Now aged 100, he was the guest-of-honour at his own book launch — “Soul of Ink: Lim Tze Peng at 100”, by Woon Tai Ho. The book describes Mr Lim’s achievements and contributions to Chinese calligraphy, offering insights into his life and his philosophy towards art. He is certainly an inspiration to all of us to continue to push our limits, no matter how old we are!
Congratulations to Mr Lim and Mr Woon on the launch of the book!
